We started our journey in 2019. During that year we helped design and publish 6 books, produce 5 spoken word albums, and hosted dozens of events for our poets.

The pandemic changed everything. Lightship Press went into a deep slumber for two years.

Then, in 2022, we returned to publish collections by three poets—Christopher Luna, Sam Rose Preminger, and Red O’Hare. Now in 2023 we’re thrilled to have published debut chapbooks from Zia Pollis and Ari Asteri. It’s our honor to introduce these new works to poetry readers and to support our authors on their publishing journey!
